“There’s an important distinction between the word ‘cure’ and the word ‘heal.’
In contemporary language, cure means to eradicate an illness or wound.
But heal comes from the root ‘to make whole.’”
Restore Your Body to Wholeness
Suzi Zobrist, LMT, offers Integrative Therapeutic Bodywork Sessions to support on deep emotional, mental, physical and spiritual levels, bringing renewed clarity, joy and insight. The sessions are an integration of different therapeutic techniques, including touch therapy, breath work, and energy medicine. They aim to assess or improve posture, heal injuries and promote awareness of the body, mind, and emotion connection.
When energy is blocked in our body, either by physical tension, emotional burden, past trauma, or long-term patterns of core imbalance, it inhibits the flow in our life. Suzi works with the four domains of healing (biomechanics, biochemical, emotions and scar tissue), to address the root cause of the symptoms and help facilitate healing. The sessions help restore your body to balance, bring reconnection to your life and offer preventative and self-care tools for empowered healing.

Craniosacral Therapy
“Heart has 4 words in it: Ear, Hear, Heat, and Art. The “Heart of Listening” requires us to have not only an ear, but to hear with our whole beings; it is energy work, and the heat in a healer’s hands is a potent form of energy. Working with real, whole human beings is a hot blooded endeavor that is, above all things else, an art.”
–Hugh Milne
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on healing modality that works with subtle rhythms and energies in the body to support the healing of illnesses, injuries, and traumas. The craniosacral system includes the brain, the cerebrospinal fluid, the system of membranes inside the cranium, all 22 cranial bones, the spine, pelvis and sacrum.
By using precise and gentle contacts, sensitive fingers and present attention, the movement and energetics of the bones are followed and longstanding patterns of tension and stored trauma are unwound. Sometimes, by touching just the right place in just the right way, a visionary can help the client understand what troubles them, and what they need to reclaim their equanimity, and their place in life. Such work can also help the client access and release their healing potential.
Sessions are approximately 1.5 hours long, with 1 hour of hands-on time. You receive this work fully clothed, lying face up on a massage table. Contacts may be made anywhere from the head to the feet, with each contact lasting from several minutes to 15 minutes or more.

Scar Tissue Remediation
“When the Body Gets Working Appropriately, the Force of Gravity Can Flow Through.
Then, Spontaneously, the Body Heals Itself.” –Ida Rolf
Have you experienced a Hysterectomy, C-Section, Mastectomy,
Episiotomy, Tearing during Childbirth, Sexual trauma or a Hernia?
Scars from abdominal surgery can create imbalances in the pelvis and spine. They can lead to numbness, lack of feeling or pain at the scar or surrounding areas. Childbirth causes scars in the pelvic floor which can lead to pain during menstruation or sexual intercourse or a decrease in libido.
Scar tissue is an obstacle to healing. It blocks our free movement of joy and pleasure in the body. Scar tissue shortens the original length of the tissue and weakens it. Scar tissue may impact other body parts and the organs, creating dysfunction and pain. Scar tissue remediation changes the configuration of the scar to resemble the original tissue. It brings more openness and flexibility to a scar area and brings stagnant tissue back to health.
Scar tissue can be formed through infection, injury, illness, inflammation, chronic poor posture, endometriosis, radiation therapy, tearing during child birth and surgeries (such as C-sections, episiotomies, appendectomies, ectopic pregnancy removal, abortion, cervical tears and biopsies, hysterectomy, ovarian cyst removal, gall bladder removal, etc).
The scar tissue remediation techniques can incorporate external and internal massage (which may include internal vaginal or anal massage) and the use of organic castor oil to help break up collagenous adhesions. Organic Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which has anti-inflammatory properties.
Scar tissue Remediation sessions are done in a series of 3-5 treatments.
